MLCC Price Adjustment & Lead Time Extension from Q4 2017  

 

Dear valued customers,  

Since the beginning of this year the demand of MLCC continuously increasing and cover all ranges including commodity common low cap, middle & high voltage, Hi cap values items. We faced very strong increment of pricing and shortage of supply through this year.  Since this year we have tried our best efforts to absorb the price increment and increased our buffer stock. However the situation is even more severe.  In order to secure enough volume for stable MLCC supply to our customers, Hitano have no choice but passes part of the increment of price to our customers.

 

We would like to remind you with this announcement some of the items lead time is more than six months excluding price adjustment.  In addition, we start to stop taking order for critical items, those lead time over one year items.  We already took efforts seriously to support our valued customers during this shortage supply period.  The price increase and lead time extension will be adjusted and depending on the series and types. Your sales persons in charge will do the necessary action and we will appreciate your understanding and continuous support to us.
